LOGAN COUNTY NATIONAL TOURISM WEEK 2022

We are celebrating Tourism this year during National Tourism Week! We have the whole week planned out for you and your family to enjoy what Logan County has to offer!

Here is the schedule for the week:
Sunday May 1
Kick-off at The Holland Theatre with the movie American Graffiti and popcorn*
Monday May 2
Scavenger hunt and FREE hot dogs* at the Logan County History Center – 3pm-6pm
Tuesday May 3
At Marmon Valley Farm get tickets at $10 per child. Tickets include a hayride, putt-putt and pony ride 4pm-7pm
Wednesday May 4
Indian Lake Day
Thanks to Spend-a-Day Marina there will be Historic Boat Tours at Sandy Beach Bridge with help from the Indian Lake Historical Society to guide the tours. The tours will be donation based with all proceeds going to the Indian Lake Watershed Project
Thursday May 5
West Liberty Day
Free hot dogs* at Ohio Caverns – 12pm-4pm
Free tours at Piatt Castle Mac-a-Cheek and Marie’s Candie’s* 3pm-7pm
In Downtown West Liberty enjoy food trucks and deals 11-4pm
Friday, May 6
First Friday’s Brewfest in Downtown Bellefontaine
Stop by the Visitors Bureau table in front of our office to pick up your postcards and earn more prizes!
Saturday May 7- Spend your day exploring the other parts of Logan County! Finish your scavenger hunt!

LoCo Scavenger Hunt

During National Tourism week you and your family can participate in our county-wide scavenger hunt! Follow the directions below to get set up for that week! The game will run from May 1-7. You can play as individuals or make 1 account for your whole family! Throughout the whole week complete missions listed on the app to gain points. Mission point values begin at 400. There will be timed missions that will only be available during certain events. Anyone who gets 2000 points will get to claim an exclusive Logan County postcard on Friday during Brewfest. For every 1000 points above 3000, you will earn an entry for the grand prize basket full of Logan County goodies!

Directions to participate in the Logan County Tourism Week Scavenger Hunt:
-Participants will need to download the app “GooseChase”
-Create an account: username, email & password
-Search “Logan County Tourism Week” in games
-Hit “Join”
-Turn on notifications to be reminded when the game starts
-Participants will need to allow the app to use locations while using the app to participate in some of the missions
