Marmon Valley Farms

Marmon Valley Farms, located in Zanesfield, offers a fun experience in Logan County. Here you can go horseback riding, climb a rock wall, pet farm animals, take the kids for a pony ride, take a dip in the pond and even enjoy their playground equipment. This beautiful farm has been offering a safe and fun experience for over 50 years! With lots of farm animals to pet, archery, climbing walls and a country store it is a day full of fun for the whole family.

Piatt Castle Mac-a-Cheek

Enjoy a self-guided tour through photographs and exhibits of the history of this beautiful castle owned by the Piatt family for over 200 years. Explore the countryside of Logan County and another small part of the history. It is a fun family adventure to take you back in time.

Logan County History Center

Logan County history center
The Logan County History Center is located in Bellefontaine. The Center holds many stories from the past with information about the railroads, famous people from Logan county and even stories of the Million Dollar Playground. The Center offers virtual tours but you can visit in person Wednesday through Sunday.

Sandy Beach Bridge

Located in Russells Point, the Sandy Beach Bridge has been a gem of Logan County since its construction in the 1920s. It served as a connection between both sides of the amusement park for pedestrians. The park closed in the 60s, but this beautiful bridge still stands as a reminder of the memories that were made there.

Simon Kenton Bike Trail

This 35 mile-long path is made for walking, running or riding. The path is chip sealed. The trail begins in Bellefontaine and goes through West Liberty, Urbana and Springfield. There are two entry points in Logan County: Carter Avenue in Bellefontaine and West Liberty Recycling Center. If you start in Bellefontaine, it is a smooth ride downhill.
