​Logan County Visitors Bureau Grant

The Logan County Visitors Bureau (LCVB) Tourism Development Grant Program is designed to support projects, initiatives, events, attractions, and placemaking efforts that strengthen Logan County as a visitor destination.
​
This program provides financial assistance to nonprofit organizations, businesses, municipalities, schools, and community organizations undertaking projects that increase visitation, enhance the visitor experience, generate economic impact, encourage overnight stays, and contribute to the long-term development of Logan County's tourism assets.

The LCVB recognizes that tourism development extends beyond marketing and events. Investments in attractions, festivals, public art, beautification, wayfinding, destination amenities, and visitor-focused infrastructure are essential to creating memorable experiences that encourage repeat visitation and strengthen community pride.

Eligible Projects

Funding may be awarded for new or expanded tourism-related projects, including but not limited to:
Event & Festival Development
  • New festivals, events, and tourism experiences
  • Expansion of existing events designed to attract additional visitors
  • Off-season and shoulder-season events
  • Cultural, heritage, arts, agricultural, outdoor recreation, and sports tourism initiatives
Attraction Development
  • Creation or enhancement of visitor attractions
  • Tourism-focused amenities that improve visitor experiences
  • Development of interpretive exhibits, visitor displays, and educational experiences
  • Projects that encourage longer visitor stays and repeat visitation
Public Art & Murals
  • Murals that enhance community character and create visitor interest
  • Public art installations with tourism value
  • Interactive art experiences and photo opportunities
  • Projects that celebrate Logan County's history, culture, and identity
Beautification & Placemaking
  • Downtown beautification projects
  • Gateway improvements and community entrance enhancements
  • Streetscape improvements with a demonstrated tourism impact
  • Public gathering spaces that support visitation and community events
  • Landscaping, public amenities, and placemaking initiatives that enhance destination appeal
Tourism Infrastructure & Visitor Amenities
  • Wayfinding signage
  • Visitor information kiosks
  • Trailhead improvements
  • Tourism-related signage and interpretive panels
  • Visitor-serving enhancements that improve accessibility and navigation
Other Tourism Initiatives
LCVB reserves the right to consider innovative tourism projects that demonstrate a measurable impact on visitation, visitor spending, destination awareness, or the overall visitor experience.

Application Process

Submitted applications will be reviewed the Logan County Visitors Bureau Council. To apply, businesses or organizations must provide a detailed project description, outline the project's impact on tourism, provide a timeline for completion, include financial details such as the requested funding amount and other potential funding sources, submit a budget breakdown, and attach supporting documents such as project plans, designs, quotes, and letters of support.

Deadlines

The 2026 LCVB Grant Application window will be open from September 1st through September 30th.
