RUTAN PARK 500 E. WILLIAMS AVE, BELLEFONTAINE Rutan Park has 28 acres of wooded area, with four shelter houses available to rent for picnics or gatherings. Hoffman Municipal Pool is located at Mary Rutan Park that offers a great place to cool off on those hot day. Three playground areas can also be found here, as well as Tennis and Basketball courts and a Disc Golf Course.
LOCO HISTORY MUSEUM 513 E. COLUMBUS AVE. BELLEFONTAINE Step back in time to learn all about the History of Logan County at the Logan County History Center. This educational stop is perfect for everyone in the family and features a Transportation Museum, History Museum and the Orr Mansion built by Mr. William Orr. They are open for tours Wednesday through Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free!
MARMON VALLEY FARMS 7754 STATE ROUTE 292 S ZANESFIELD With over 150 well-trained horses and ponies, horseback riding is Marmon Valley’s specialty! For over 50 years Marmon Valley Farm has been providing safe horseback riding experiences for guests of all ages. The riding stable is open year-round Tuesday through Sunday. OHIO CAVERNS 2210 EAST STATE ROUTE 245 Tours take guests through two different parts of the cavern. The Historic Tour begins at the site of discovery and includes the part that was originally explored from 1897 to 1925. The Natural Wonder Tour takes guests on a 1 mile walk through parts discovered after 1925. It includes the largest stalactite in Ohio, The Crystal King, along with many other marvelous formations and colors. The Winter Tour is the only tour offered from October 1st through April 30th. It is a hybrid tour, showing guests highlights from both the Natural Wonder and Historic tours.
